At times like this, why do people send their children to subpar student care? May as well stay at home.

Don't understand. They are supposed to do social distancing at this times. So no socialising. Then the people at subpar student care are not rigourously trained in pedagogy to help the child. Why waste extra money and let the child be exposed to all these extraneous elements at this time? So puzzling there are people still sending their children to subpar student care at this time, why? Why? Why

Because it is still better than keeping your kid at home. Retards development . Kids learn through exposure - including social skills learnt by being with strangers.
So even they grow up they don’t need to pass their time by being on forums as they can socialise well 😆

The problem now is they need social distancing to keep themselves safe. And in a subpar environment with negative influences and more students, people with no rigourous training in pedagogy, isnt't it more detrimental and negative influences to their development?

some parents both need to work, its not a matter of want, its more a matter of need.

I wonder what’s in the mind of those who home-schooled their children like Darren Lim and Evelyn Tan.

Issit they scared the society n school will taint n tarnish their children?

I see many fine independent chilren of p3 and above going to subpar student care, at this time when there's hbl going on and easy communication by handphone, that is what i really don't understand.

If no one home, who look after the kid?
Last week... My kids almost burn down my house while flying egg... They cannot off the fire they started... Don't worry just don't place anything above the stove. Then wait for me to come back..

When I came back. My wife called my neighbour to come and see. Small issue. But without adults supervision.. Small things might escalate..

Many got no choice.
No maid, no parents to help take care.
Only place is send them there hoping nothing happen. A risk to take.
But need to believe they can do the work well n ensure all checks in place.

P3 and well behaved, good relationships with their parents, take school bus home, cannot stay at home themselves? I means if the child is already going out himself to buy small stuffs or play at the playground, what's the difference?
