If I totally didn't read the comics or watch x-men and totally clueless, where to start to know their names?

Ask me mcu avengers I know everything even until the wakanda botak women squad, but x-men I totally noob !!

With all the multi-verse thingy, it really makes it hard to link everything from different comics together. Maybe DC Comics character will join the MCU (or vice versa) one day!
