I saw 1866mhz ram are 10 bucks more then the usual 1600mhz .

So the current haswell boards can support this?

It used to be just $4 difference.

Anyway that small tiny freq bump is nothing. No difference. Just take any 1600mhz ram oc a bit to 1866mhz if there is a need. It isnt difficult to oc also.

Faster ram doesn't really make a difference if your are a gamer.
Get the cheaper ram better. They should support up to 2400mhz ram.

I was thinking if i am, getting a 2k rig..10bucks more to get something slightly better won't hurt in the equation. But like it does nothing at all.

All time low was $19/4GB and $38/8GB, that was Q4 2012...
