Hi folks, I've decided to go for a 5D4N shopping and makan trip in Bangkok.

I've identified several places of interest but can't seem to fill up the 5 days :s13:.
Would appreciate if Bangkok experts here can help out a little.

Shopping: Cheapo and all the way to high end clothes and accessories
Makan: Anything nice under the sky including street stalls and restaurants

Identified Places
Chatuchak Weekend Market
Platinum wholesale centre
China town
Emporium
Siam Square
Big C Supermarket
Shibuya Fashion Mall
City Complex
Central World
Siam Paragon

Here a Few Worth Going.
Asiatique - Take the BTS Line to [Saphan Taksin] and jump on the free shuttle at the end of the pier (About 10 mins)

MBK Shopping Centre - Take the BTS line to [National Stadium]
Bonanza Shopping Mall - Just walk from MBK Shopping Mall

Terminal 21 -Take the BTS line to [ASOK]. Good Unique Design of both thai and international items.

Asiatique - too far
Big C Supermarket - BIG C Centralworld not bad
Central World - Got cinema and ding tai feng
City Complex- Beside pratunam glow hotel there, not cheap.
Chatuchak Weekend Market - Must go for cheap stuff shopping:)
China town- Kway Chap and bird nest nice
MBK- Clothings very expensive, around 9 dollars per piece for printed tees. Normally will go bobae or mbk, around 2.50 for one printed tees.

Asiatique isn't really far? 10mins train ride then a short ferry ride. Worth a visit.

Most of my tee I got at MBK were 150baht. Not that exp at all.

You should checkout greyhound/another hound cafe or the magnum cafe at Siam Paragon. Pretty good.

Som Tam Nua at Siam Square Soi 5

Union Mall at Phahon Yothin MRT Station
som tam nua is recommended. northern thailand ISSAN food.

dun go during peak hour. long waiting time of at least 1/2 hr - 1hr.

6pm is ok. 6.30pm onwards have to wait and queue up.

Personally I thought union mall was a waste of time. Unless you're done with Chatuchak early and have nowhere else to go. Mall was pretty 'bare'. Rather spend the time around pratunam area
