Hi all,

Based on my readings, it seems most recommend against buying investment products from banks and discourage investing on leverage. My question is what the benefits of bank priority banking status and having a Relationships Manager assigned to us?

I honestly don't see a huge benefit in it.

Priority banking is a little bit different over here in the States. It gets you a few things (Chase, my current daily-driver bank, gives me a fee-free debit card, free inbound and outbound wire transfers, and a free safe-deposit box, all of which are genuinely useful and save me a few hundred bucks a year).

But having an RM is honestly more hassle than it's worth; I have to remember who to email when I want to get things done, and I get rotated among RMs once or twice a year.
