Hi experts,

I am building a basic rig for living room usage. Wont be playing any games on the system, just browsing, surfing web, watching movie/streaming movie on a 4kHD tv.

Budget: $800
Need: cpu (white or silvery build no window also nvm)
No need: OS, monitor, speaker

Rig:
MSI B150i gaming pro + G4560 - $250
Kingston value ram 8GB - $85
Toshiba 1tb - $64
Zotac GTX1050 2GB - $179
SF sliver 550W - $119
Phantek evolv ITX - $129

Total damage: $826

Question: Do i need a gpu or should i get a I3-6100 running the onboard intel graphic?

For my case, living room PC build for the kids too, I reused my old Core™2 Duo Processor E8400 (3GHz), reused old 4x 1GB DDR2-667 Rams Dual Channel, 2nd-hand Asus P5B-E Plus mainboard, 2nd-hand MSI Radeon HD7870 2GB OC, 2nd-hand Philips 220CW 22" Wide LCD, reused old LG 22x SATA DVD-RW Drive and Western Digital VelociRaptor(HLFS) 150GB 10kRPM SATA HDD 16MB, reused old iCute 627, and 2nd-hand Seasonic S12II 520W PSU, reused old Logitech speakers.
With this specs, you can go Garage buy 2nd-hand for less than HALF of your intended budget, and this living room PC rig of mine doesn't lag, can even run latest games smoothly, some with lower settings of course.
