I got a small built ITX system and can take in a single slot low profile gfx card. What is the best card available now? Nvidia or AMD?

You can't rely on Tomshardware guide.

The GT 730, like the GT 630 before it, comes in both new and rebadged versions. The one on Lazada should be using a Kepler core (and not a rebadged Fermi) so is probably the best GT 730 variant. It is however limited by a 64-bit memory bus. (Edit: hmm ... the GT 730 on Lazada is not a low profile GPU. Low profile means a shorter I/O plate.)

To answer the OP question, this is currently the best low profile card. This GT 630 also uses a Kepler core but has a 128-bit memory bus and thus double the memory bandwidth. This is a custom GT 630 made for HP. It's no longer available at HP but perhaps Ebay might have it.

Is this better than the gt730?

I feel the HD 6670 should be faster. The GT 730 comes with a meagre 64bit memory bandwidth, and usually paired with DDR3 memory.

The above is from a gaming perspective, but it depends on what you define as better based on its intended purpose.
