Read around that keeping overclocked processor below 75°C will not affect lifespan.
True?

as long as we use it the "lifespan" already shortened just a matter of time. Most importantly is how we utilised it while it's still serving our needs  how long lifespan do you expect for a CPU?

It depends from chip to chip and it’s usually the extra voltages that kills the chips. But in general OC is ok as you said just keep the temps down. It should last you until you upgrade ur pc anyway.

My pc on a sandy bridge processor that’s OC to 4.5Ghz and after 8yrs, it still runs fine, but It has watercooling to keep the temp down.

Wow 4.5GHz...
Previously my i7-3770k only OC to 4.2GHz with Noctua NH-U12S from 2017 to 2021... before that on Intel stock cooler @3.9GHz from 2013 to 2017.

Guys share your OC 5GHz for i7-9700k and i9-9900k CPU temperatures, and what coolers you use.

Recently change to Noctua NH-D15 with 2X NF-A15 PWM 140mm Fans (Brown), and overclocked i7-9700k at 5GHz now idle at 35-38°C , full load below 70°C, highest 72°C
Sadly due to the G.SKILL Ripjaws V rams, NH-D15 can only use 1x NF-A15 fan... anyway from YouTube review, only 1°C difference between 1 and 2 fans.

More than voltages and temps, current actually kills you CPU more.
Intel spec sheet usually has a max of 1.52V but I personally would recommend under 1.4V for daily.
Some CPUs like Rocketlake are okay with voltages up to 1.45V.

Do not use an aggressive LLC. Somewhere in the middle or less would be good to prevent an overshoot in voltages. This also ensures you have good transient voltages making your system much more stable as too low voltages with high LLC has issues with some games like Apex Legends where Vmin creates alot of instabilities and crashes.

I was able to do 5.2GHz all core on my previous 9900KS at 1.37V with 4.8GHz cache with 4,133MHz CL16 tuned rams. Custom loop with temps around low 70s during gaming and idle low 30s. LLC was High with the Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master.

5.0GHz - 1.31V
5.1GHz - 1.34V
5.2GHz - 1.37V

Hope this helps...
