What's the best retirement plan available for funding by SRS?

There isnt any best.
But there are a few. 1 of it is manulife retireready, 1 of the highest guaranteed monthly income. And also depends on ur time frame and amount.

There is guaranteed with non guaranteed. Different accumulation period will have different answer. Only when generate then will have the answer.

Thanks. I just went to their website to have a look. It is not bad except that there's too much non-guaranteed component in it. Too much uncertainty.

You are welcome. Yes but its one of the highest guaranteed. Every insurer has the non guaranteed component. Lower guaranteed with higher non guaranteed etc.

Just focus on guaranteed.

Back then MRRP has the highest G portion, not sure about now.

Take note NG is NG for a reason, if they give it would be just peanuts shell or bread crumbs. :s13:

Usually can declare higher but confirm lower one. I guess like 1% or 2%. Very low end of the spectrum. Any thoughts?

But if u see, its under the 4.75% column. The iirc will be higher in overall picture.

You meant IRR?

IIRC - If I recalled correctly.

If not wrong 4.75% is the highest financial institution could put legally as set by MAS. So most brochures and products would claim that.

But yes, if I were to look at IIR then the number should be better. 2%G + 0.8%NG (+1% rebate from initial outlay). So still not bad. Beating inflation is my primary purpose for annuity. Just a safety net in case of black swan event closer to my retirement age. The exact rate I would not be able to calculate at this timing and without opening my work machine for excel. :s22:
