Obviously, our new 13PM comes with a bigger size of camera as compare with last year 12PM.
Do you guys consider to get the camera protector? Or do you think a good case will be enough to protect it?
Placing this 13PM on a flat surface and you will notice the harms to our new toy.o_O
According to my fren, camera protector might somehow creates some reflection, is that true?

Hearsay the camera protector will degrade image quality...

Compared to the sapphire lenses used on the iPhone. The lens protector is most likely made of glass or plastic which is probably easily scratched.

I have used my iPhone 12 for a year now. No lens protector, and the lenses are still pristine.

Why need a protector for sapphire camera lens? Same goes for Apple watch with sapphire screen.

Not planning to install on mine too. My personal view is having another glass in front of the lens will degrade the image quality.

Past experience with 11PM is fine without the protectors. Of course, one needs to be mindful where the phone is place on the table - protruding surface that will come into contact with the lens, or in pockets/bags with keys.

Never used any lens protector since I started using iPhones, only screen protectors and cases. Camera lenses all have no scratches, not even hairline.

Same with Apple Watches, just use them straight out of the box.
