Blacklisted in MAS

Does anyone know, if currently I am blacklisted in MAS due to CC bills, do you know if upon clearing my debts, will I be able to go back to the financial sector to work? TIA

I don't think MAS actually blacklist any individuals, especially not for stuff like CC bad debts.

Your bad debts are recorded in CBS credit report, which is what financial institutions use to grade your credit woworthines.

It is common to have "SGX Blacklisted Status" and "Bankrupt Status", I have not heard from MAS blacklist before, does it exist in the first place? Where did you heard this term from?

If I'm not wrong, given enough time(many many years), the record cleans up if all the debt are repaid. I'm lazy to look for the real answer though.

MAS is not responsible for blacklisting individuals due to personal debt.

They do, however, have their own list under Securities and Futures Act (Cap. 289), MAS Register of Representatives.
