Hi everyone!
This is my first post on this forum. Please treat me well!
I'm looking to change handphones soon. But I'm exploring sets from both mainstream and non-mainstream brands. Because I work in a rugged environment, I have come across brands like the European Ruggear and Chinese Blackview which produces industry certified tough and rugged phones.
Both brands have shops in Singapore. However, Ruggear's official SG website's latest model is still stuck in Android Lollipop but local shop Black-Tactical offers the Apex Pro RG970 which is not so great as well.
Blackview's local shelves only have the BV8000 while internationally they are offering the latest BV9000 Pro which seems to have impressive specs for its price range.
Ruggear's Apex Pro RG970 is dissapointing to say the least for a European smartphone. Blackview's BV9000 Pro is also enticing (and cheaper by about at least a hundred bucks), but the fact that it is based and made in China gives me pause.
Has anyone used any of these brands? I know it most likely will be a long stretch, but i wonder does anyone have any experience purchasing and using phones from these brands?
Cheers!
