You can try taking both sticks of RAM out and placing in 1 RAM and starting the computer then again the other one in and start the computer. Try place them in different slots, does not have to be dual channel config.

0x124 generally points to HW issues. Probably WHEA Uncorrectable Error.

If OC'-ing, revert to stock, boot with minimal peripherals (1 stick RAM, 1 HDD only, remove ODD etc)

Thanks to both who replied. tried doing that but problem still occurs when I'm playing game. I thought it was the CPU since it's pretty much an old one and could be bottlenecking the pc.

STOP:0x00000124 usually point to insufficient voltage to the ram, processor or chipset.

If you are using "Auto Voltage" for the above mentioned devices, change the setting to manual setting and set it to the typical/default voltage.
If problem persist with manual setting, increase 1 notch of the voltage then monitor the system again.

In some cases, overheated system can lead to STOP:0x00000124 error too. When system temperature reach an unfavorable range, the electronic component on the motherboard will gets lower voltage/current feed due to higher resistant.
