Bluetooth headset - sbh50

Hi, got the Bluetooth headset - sbh50. But no matter what, I can't seems to be able to get my SMS or events notification on my headset. Had already download all the apps, but still don't work. Used with my Xperia z and also tried on iphone 5 and note 8.0. Any user here? Do you have the same problem?

Thanks. Lodged through Sony care last Monday but still no reply. Already gone through the user guide.
