Me. You get a BMW for not a lot of money :s13: Okay, the plastics are a bit cheap and creak a bit when driving slowly, going over speed bumps, but it's not too bad.

The suspension's bouncy (comfortable for me, but apparently not for passengers) if you go for the standard 16" wheels with super high-profile tyres. Beats having a stiff suspension.

Wait for the facelifted version. It comes with Apple CarPlay and a touchscreen iDrive system.

Got mine last year in dec. The newer version now comes with the Euro 6 engine and the price is cheaper too.. LOL Ask for the 5 year warranty.

Agreed, you get a lot of BMW features and driving experience for what its worth.

Tech, fully specced out with the latest stuff in the market, except for the Heads up display but I find that distracting anyway. The only other thing is the touchscreen display but, I prefer the dial.

Driving experience wise well, its a FWD, but put it in sports mode, and feel the torque. Even on comfort mode it drives more like a hot hatch then say a MPV. Inside is spacious but the interiors not real leather FYI. But I prefer it that way, less maintenance anyways.

Ugly inside AND outside.

But drives well and doesn't show its weight or size in the driving characteristics.

Diesel is very quiet on the inside, stereo is good.

Rear seat passengers get (anemic, but present) rear air vents.

If you're coming from more premium European cars you will definitely notice the cheapness with this.

This feels more like a Golf than a 5 series, for example. But it's still a league over the Peugeot, Renault, Opel build quality.

You have to get the version with the reclining back seats. Also, there's no cruise control, which is a bit cheap for BMW to exclude. There's adaptive cruise with traffic assist for $6,000+ though :s13:

It's not ugly to me, but the interior orange/brown leather is questionable though.

It’s damn loud.

If u can’t tahan better don’t get. Noise insulation on the inside is still acceptable, but definitely can hear a bit.

My experience was from test drive and being a passenger ... suggest u go test drive first and see

the car looks ugly one the outside.
Rather get 1 series.
Though both are different set of car.

Surprisingly, the 216d has a 6-speed transmission with front-wheel drive while the 116d has an 8-speed transmission with rear-wheel drive.

Though its 0-100km/h is 10.3s, the 116d feels much faster than this, probably because its 0-60 km/h, crucial in urban driving, is only a few seconds.

Overtake with confidence with the nimble 116d.

To me 1 series also ugly.
Its like a 3 series hatch.
Proportions wrong, long over hanging nose with flat backside.

The 216d is using the same chassis as the Mini, which is FWD.

Lol you still can have fun with a 2-series. This is the 7-seater Gran Tourer version:
