Booking got cancelled on Agoda

Hopefully their customer service improves otherwise many other options to choose.... Expedia quite good

I never try Agoda actually! Is it cheaper Ethan other platforms?

Tried agoda , expedia, hotels.com , trip.com

Agoda - Hotel cancelled our bookings (due to renovation, etc)
They offered us a more expensive hotel.
However, we counter suggest another hotel which they have accepted
Email: Usually response within 24 hours
Hotline: Sometimes can take up to 45 minutes to pick up

Expedia - Pick up phone call usually within few minutes
Hotels.com - Pick up phone call within few minutes
(Both expedia and hotels.com under one parent company)

Trip.com (I wont advise people to book from there, prices may be cheaper by 10% to 20+% sometimes). Booked before once, few weeks before departure date, the china rep called and said hotel cancelled the booking.
No alternative suggested, and they said they cant do anything but to refund.
