Hi, I intend to get a rMBP, but am not sure what specs to get.

It will be used as an all-rounder. OSX for normal usage, with photo editing in Lightroom and PS6.

Intend to Bootcamp to win8 and play around with win 2012 r2 server stuff.

What kind of specs should I be getting? High ram, high CPU or is the 13" 8GB with i5 2.6GHz good enough for my needs?

As this will be my first Mac, I can't really gauge the capabilities for my requirements. For those of you who have experienced similar usage before, please advice! :)

I just got myself the 13inch Retina one for $2088. The upgraded 8GB ram with extra flash storage version. I'm playing Counter Strike GO, AC4 and all sorts of games on it. Its good enough :)

i recently just had bootcamp/window 8 installed on my Mac (which is the most basic model) and it works perfectly fine! But just one thing is the 128GB SSD might not be enough which is indeed in my case, so gotta hook up to a 1TB HDD which cost me $89. If you don't mind paying extra bit more, you can get the 256GB SSD and 8gb ram!
