Murder at Capri by Fraser Hotel, Chinatown

• Date & Location: On the morning of October 24, 2025, a woman was found dead in a room at Capri by Fraser China Square, located at 181 South Bridge Road, Chinatown.

• Suspect: A 41-year-old man, believed to be her husband, walked into Bukit Merah East Neighbourhood Police Centre at 7:40 AM and confessed to killing his wife.

• Victim: A 38-year-old woman, reportedly his spouse. Both are believed to be foreigners from Indonesia.

• Police Response: Officers arrested the man and are investigating the case as murder. He is expected to be charged in court on October 25

How come he needs to go Bukit Merah ? Isn’t cantonment the nearest police station? Who is the concierge that gave him wrong directions? Or did he had his favourite bah chor mee first before reporting to police ? So many questions unanswered… who is the IO?!
