Sydney’s St Vincent’s Hospital has revealed its pathology service incorrectly messaged 400 people to tell them they had tested negative to COVID-19 – when they had in fact tested positive.

They have apologised to all those impacted.

"These people had tested positive to COVID," a statement from St Vincent's Hospital said.

"As soon we became aware of the issue this morning, SydPath immediately commenced a process to contact impacted people.

"We sincerely apologise to all those impacted."

The hospital said the mistake was possibly a result of "human error" and was currently being investigated by its emergency response team.

dont laugh hor... srs..... this one admit to the public... gt apology.... admit say is possibly human error....

i nt able to say for all countries lah... bt i knw for some countries.. some lah... they will ownself damage control ownself... say is technical error in message system... something like tt lah...
