Actually, other than the rice, KFC Malaysia and KFC Singapore are the same.
If you want to eat chicken rice so much, can consider visiting a kopitiam instead, and have a plate of chicken rice (if can, fried chicken), with a cup of coca cola from the drinks stall. Would be the same experience as eating a rice meal at KFC Malaysia.
The quantity probably also more than the rice meal at KFC Malaysia, while the price should be about the same (KFC Malaysia rice meal convert over about $4), especially if include the costs of taking public transport to Johor Bahru just to eat at KFC Malaysia (total $2 more than travelling to neighborhood town centre, in both directions of travel).
$6 can probably get you the same quality and probably greater quantity in a local food court in Singapore, than if you would go to a KFC Malaysia restaurant at Johor Bahru just to enjoy the rice meal.
