I'll be going to brunei soon for lancer, but i have a Medical Appointment coming up. The date of the MA collides with my brunei trip. This is a really important MA and the next available date for another MA is very far away.

Really dk what to do leh..

Can my superiors charge me if i decide to attend the appointment instead of going to brunei? Do they have the rights and power to force me to change my appointment date? Really confused :s11:

If it is so important and that it can’t wait till after your trip, and that your MO agrees, you can always ask your MO to write to your superior.

MA is regarding breathing/chest pain issues, i figured it's important to me. Not sure if MO will be kind enough to help too. My superiors also pressured me to change the date of the appointment..

It's not about being kind. If your MO feels that your condition is life threatening, why would they want to take the risk?

Life and death is not about kindness.

Tell ur MO first. If ur MO agrees that you go for the MA, explain ur case to MO. Your MO will talk to ur OC. Doubt ur MO likes the risk and MO decision will overwrite that of ur OC. So dont worry of getting charged, rights, power all this nonsense

Lancer is no joke. Breathing and chest pain.
Went there during nsf time climb mount biang and 7 wonders. Really can die

the best solution is to do an FFI for overseas training (yes, there is such a thing)

if the superiors are not able to arrange that, just report sick , see the MO, and ask the MO about it.

tell them the reason for your FFI is chest pain and dificulty breathing.

strictly speaking, any health issues not sorted out means that you cannot be safely deployed.

safety first.
