Hoping someone here has encountered or heard of this problem before, I did a google search and could not find anything similar.
I just bought an ASUSTOR at the IT show and set it up for RAID 6, at this point the NAS is essentially empty, but it's still "synchronizing" when I look at the HDD status even though the system is able to be written to.
When I started moving files there (a bunch of car DVR videos, about 20Mb each, and about 6Gb in total), it moved a few and my PC (Windows 7 Home 64-bit, running off an OCZ Vertex 4 SSD) BSOD'ed. This can be reproduced without fail, though I had not managed to catch the BSOD code yet.
I've moved large numbers of files to USB-connected external drives without issues, with the same system, no OS or driver changes since those successful transfers.
