Some 2nd floor bto units are linked to common areas, and hence, have no privacy.

How are the units above, below, beside sky terraces, high level void decks and roof gardens?

What are the other units to avoid?
Tbh before my selection I went to look at similar layout projects and walk the sky terraces etc realized that the immediate 1 down is the worst whereby people can look directly into your house/room. You should try it for yourself to see also.

So maybe 2 floors up/below instead?

Bad BTO HDB to avoid :

Skygardens are quite useless , should just build units instead w shelter link to garden abv carpark etc.

More for Noisy strangers gatheringS, dirty n worst residents hv to pay premium S&CC for them... 😡

Avoid abv n below units of skygarden to as pests or bugs or plants growing to yr units.

Dont face playground n exercise corner due to noisy exercise equipments i.e TGO Assisted Pull up .. due to jlb hdb n tc n hardcore slamming the pull up bar daily.

Master bedroom door partially blocks the bathroom.

Units w service yard along the common corridor is damn dark n ppl still put plants at their ac ledge n common corridor that is facing another facing unit.🤦‍♂️

Bad bto layout - No privacy as very close proximity blocks n echoeS...

Lot of residents install blackout curtain etc, in case of emergency, spf n scdf cant detect any casualties n more delayS...

Units w service yard facing opp blk common corridor.

Contractors even HDB licensed , must video since Day 1 n also install in yr unit.

TS maybe can summarise the top
few points here and put into a poll to rank what people think?

Unit that is east west facing to avoid. Those windows facing east morning time will be very hot and need to put curtain. At night worse if walls face afternoon sun.
