Budget & good Minsu recommendations?

Happy new year everyone! I'm planning for a taiwan trip in April this year, headache now is looking for accomodation.. 3 of us are travelling together and i'm paying for the accomodations, so can't really spend too much on those expensive places.. Anyone have cheap and good minsu to recommend for any of the following places?

Taipei/Taichung/Kaosiung/Chiayi

By cheap i'm hoping for those $30-70 per night, if a particular minsu is really damn good i suppose slightly more might be acceptable.

Have stayed before YOMI family room, one nite is 134sgd with breakfast and 2 double bed, 2 single bed ... Room have bath tub and massage toilet cubicle.
Walking distance is 10 min to YOMI...

Have also stayed at Diary of taipei at XMD.
Quad room with 2 queen bed is 102 with breakfast ...
Depending on your travel dates.
If your travel dates falls on fri to sun, hotels at xmd prices can be as high as 2x their normal days rate...

There are many few hotels in Taipei that offers family or quad rooms.
Have checked Mar taipei, caesar htel at TMS, just located nearby TMS b, is abt 870 for 5 nites 3 pax, for 2 queen bed ....
Now become 900+ liao ...

Taichung hotel tend to be cheaper.
Based on my experience in Taichung last year .
We have stayed a 3 star hotel @ 48 per nite, booked last min, near taichung railway station.
