Budget soundbar for new PC

Budget has different meaning to different people.


For me its below $200.
For others its below $500.

On no, not that I know much about soundbar but I use to have this when I own a Dell monitor you might as well use the built in speaker of monitor if it has one.lol

Frankly most of the <$100 or even $200 soundbars don't sound better than built-in speakers from before 2008. I used to have one 42" LCD that used dual 2.5-inch width elongated woofers and probably also a tweeter for each channel. Pity I didn't salvage the speakers when the TV spoilt - they're in a detachable compartment.

But because the new slim TVs come with extremely horrible speakers the soundbars are getting their market created.

Not sure if positive review for D200 or negative review for Roar

Both are positive to me. I have better sounding speakers, but for the compact size, I am happy with them I am no audiophile anyway. Haha.

Alot of the $200+ speakers nowadays

It depends on where you look...

Yea in the past $200 can get you MX5021, can't find anything like that or close to that at this price range nowadays. What do we have now? Logitech z263? Lol.

On the other hand, $200 now can get you Swan D1080 MKII+ and $250 can get you Edifier R2000DB or Swan D1080-IV so I'd say we are getting better sound for less money, but again stressing on depending on where you look.
