I have quite a serious problem atm and i am a newbie to this thing.

Linkstation LS-QVL Buffalo , 4 Drives (1TB), Raid5

I can see my shared folders but i cannot access or connect through into the folders.

My buffalo is showing red light/errors on sometimes either on disk 1 or 3. Sometimes it's 1 , sometimes it's 3..... no idea why.

Logging into the webserver shows no capacity or information on ALL disks. I can see the array and disk 1-4 but no unit capacity and usage info next to it.

I use NAS Navigator 2. It's giving me 3 errors.

1. l12: The RAID array is in degraded mode.
2. E30: Drive 3 error. REplace the drive immediately!
3. E14: Cannot mount RAID array 1.

Wondering if there is any chance of salvaging even some of the data?

Before you lose all your data, clone out your disk 1 and 3 with new disks and hope that your system can rebuilt the array.
