I rather bet $10 on a carousell key than pay $150+ for assurance. Just saying

Anyway those keys will run through Microsoft server. If it works, it works. If it don't, find and buy again.

Can I reuse/transfer the cd key from my old com to a new one?

If also windows 10, as long as the key is retail and not OEM, it's transferable. Google a bit to find out how to check.

Actually why don't you buy a brand new PC instead ? DIY is popular 10 years back, cos new PC are very expensive. But now, new PC is so cheap and fast, and comes with good warranty.

Just get Ryzen. Then no need wait. Socket compatible with next gen Ryzen till 2020. More worth.
