Hi all, need some help in building a gaming rig, budget hope to be less than $1500 for now without monitor, mouse & keyboard. Would like to have space to upgrade in the future to better GPU, mobo & liquid cooling so the case cannot be that small. The parts I've gathered are:
Mobo & CPU: hoping to get a R.O.G mobo that can support up till the GTX980. CPU would most likely be getting i5. (Would there be any difference in getting a i7?)
GPU: EVGA GTX 970 (would upgrade to 2 in the future with SLI)
RAM:Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz
HDD: WD 1Tb
SDD: Samsung SSD 250GB
PSU: No idea yet
Case: Would like to get the CM Cosmos or Stryker.
I know this current build might already be more than $1500, maybe exceed by $100-$200 would still be acceptable for me. This com would mostly be use for playing MMORPG and maybe some FPS game. Hope you all would be able to share your experience with me.
