Bursary Application

Hi guys,

My family's gross household income is about $6100, with 4 person in the household (about $1500 per capita). So I should be receiving about $2700 MOE Bursary.

However, my sibling, who is earning about $4700 monthly, is not contributing a cent to the household, despite living with us. Not only she doesn't contribute, my parents still have to pay for her phone bills etc.

I am wondering if I can indicate that she does not live at the same address as me and is married (single actually)? This will allow me to qualify for bursary of higher amount, perhaps up to $4000. I really hope to lighten my parents' burden, I mean who doesn't like to save more money right.

Anyone done this before? Will the office ask for proof or call to ask about it?

TS, if you declare your sis not staying with you liao, your PCI is bumped up to 2000ish, which makes you eligible for the lowest tier bursary: 1350. You willing to face suspension/investigation over 1k? I suggest you just LLST and forfeit 650/sem bah. This one is small amount you can easily earn back when you start to work de lols. However, if you feel this is worth getting then you can take your chances and declare sis is married liao.
