Hi Guys,

Has anyone tried buying direct from Japan using proxy services? Here are some proxy services that I found online:

Big in Japan
Importation du japon de jeux vidéo, de consoles de jeu ps3, de cd de musique, de figurines et de mangas - Nippon-Yasan.Com
RiderProxy
Yokatta Shopping Service

Im planning to pre-order the Metal Build 00 Raiser from Tamashii Web directly since its cheaper even with shipping already considered. I just need to know if these services are reliable/reputable.

Maybe we could discuss experiences with these services in this thread not only for my benefit but also for the benefit of other people who might want to consider proxy service to get better prices on the Tamashii Web items they are considering to buy.

Thanks!

I actually considered it. But honestly I dont understand half of whats written in the Tamashii web shop even if Google Translate is turned on. Thats why I looked into these proxy services which are based in Japan.

Any forum members who used this kind of service? :) I tried to contact Yokatta and Rider Proxy but I havent received a reply yet. My fallback might be Biginjap in case they dont respond, although Biginjap is slightly more expensive.
