Buying on Newegg

Appreciate your help on this .

Just checked out newegg(sg) and found their pricing to be rather good for motherboards and gpus as compared to local distro. I have not purchased on newegg before and would like to know if GST and shipping charges are factored into the cart prices reflected on the SG global website. The current cart function is down at the moment so I can't check out the items to get to the final prices.

Also would like to know how would the RMA process be if I were to buy a ASUS or ASROCK motherboard on newegg.

No, shipping and gst (fyi both shipping and cost of product will be subjected to gst) are not included yet.

RMA wise, most likely you have to liaise with ASUS/MSI/Gigabyte/Asrock US. Only EVGA you are likely to send it back to EVGA Taiwan. Also note that you there will be some items that you cant order to Singapore because of some restrictions they have in place/newegg will mention that it is not available for our country

prices dont include shipping/GST..... Warranty is covered by US side unless its international warranty or our distros have a heart and help u send in for RMA for a small fee

Yup but if u buy from "newegg SG" which is essentially them shipping to Singapore, some of their warranty tnc are different from the US ones

simplest way to find out is call local distro or ask in their sub forum if available.

amazon not necessary free shipping based on price. sometimes certain items won't have even if hit price. more often than not, gpu and ram will have free shipping at a certain price point.
