Hi i was trying to narrow down some EV to change my current Ride to and stumble upon this BYD new launch.

150KW is quite good and with the blade battery that even tesla is buying for their new Model Y in USA.

What are your view?

Approx $175k with COE. (on Launch 8 July 2022)
Front View Drive Only
150KW with 310NM Torque

Anyone tried BYD car before? Quality good? Software Good?

Looks good in photo.

Any other EV to recommend?

Current driving a forestor XT Turbo. Want to find something with the same power or better.

Currently we have $20k + $25K Rebate.

End of Dec 2022, the $25K rebate will end. So technically all the Price of new EV will bump up $25K. Righ?
I checked with the most of the other EV Dealer. They claim that the listed price already factor in the rebate.

Is it possible that the resale value will also get a bump up?

Just go and test drive. Cat A model even though detuned, the torque is still enough to have a far more spirited drive than petrol Cat As. Everything else including batt size is the same (unlike Ioniq 5 where Cat A doesn’t have the option of having the bigger battery pack).

Was thinking to change car and the Atto 3 is one of my shortlisted models.

Went to Suntec yesterday to have a look at the 2024 Atto 3.

Pretty satisfied with everything but the trade-in they verbally gave was quite disappointing. It's about $20k less than the listed prices of my current model in the resale market.

Anyone compared between the different BYD dealers on pricings and trade-in before?

Edit: Realised the dealer actually lowballed me by about $20k instead of $17k.

I wonder whether different dealers quote differently too
