Ah I see. I thought hard reset would refresh the overall caching of your phone etc.

Hmm I remember someone telling me not to do any hard/soft reset when the phone just updated to a latest OS/OS patch because it might interfere with the background indexing of the data. Not sure if it's true or not.

Dam bad, ask your wife to go to the new phone, Note 9 and you use a older phone, BUT the older phone is the better one.

Those were due to bloat ware. My Sony Xperia Z2 already butterly smooth when upgrade to Android 6.
Don't forget iPhone LTE speed is lower than most Android flagship using snapdragon.

LTE speed won't matter unless you are downloading files or apps larger than 1GB. That will make the difference. Otherwise, you don't even feel it.
