Calendar Email Reminders Gone!

Hi everyone,

I need help with the default calendar app. Not sure what happened or was it after i updated to iOS11, there is no email being sent to me to remind me of the event.

I sync it using Google and all along no issues with it. Even downloaded google calendar but still did not receive any email reminders.

Please advise

Are you able to see those reminders on your desktop or on another computer?

No. I'm using icloud too, if this is relevant.
