Calling another member "idiot" is acceptable language?

I reported this post for inappropriate language used against me but was rejected with the reason given "it's subjective". I think the intent and target of the post is quite clear?

So it is ok to use such language against others by simply switching the personal pronoun (you) to a demonstrative pronoun (this)? Semantically speaking, this is not even ambiguous.

 

[Intrinion]

Two moderators who independently reviewed the post came to the same conclusion that the report and the use of the word “idiot is ambiguous wrt who it is referring to.

Noting this the report was rejected.
