Been thinking of a minor overhual by swapping out my CPU/Mobo -------->
:s13:
Currently thinking of swapping it out for a i5 4670 but cant quite decide which board to pair it with hence need to seek the wisdom of the hardware gods here/

I would prefer ATX boards over matx.
Don't really intend to play with OC hence not getting the K.
budget about 400-500.

Hi from what I see on this forum, most people recommend this:

msi b85 g43 + i5-4570

If you want you can go for i5-4670 also if you have the budget, but the difference is negligible. If you are currently using 4gb ram I recommend you upgrade to at least 8gb better.

Just throw in a MSI B85 G43 Gaming ATX board + i5-4670 ~ $408

Throw in another 4gb worth of ram. A 4gb cannot play bf4 smoothly. Tested out today. Can play lah but cannot multi tab.

Adata 4gb 1600mhz ~ $45

If so can just get the B85 G43 Gaming + i5-4670 ~ $408

+ $30 for non full rig.

Still cheaper than other stores. But the $30 depending on how are you gonna bargain. You know how to talk you can waive off a bit.
