Looking for the above from travellers who actually have and used them.

What's your experience with it?

Any restrictions from budget airlines?

saw someone with this recently:

don't see how there could be restrictions. it's basically a soft luggage with straps.

the only problem is the weight and the straps won't be comfortable carrying heavier loads over long distances.

The straps are not practical- very uncomfortable to carry a box on your back with those straps. The 40L version just fits within Scoot's cabin luggage size limit of 54cm x 38cm x 23cm. The empty weight is already 2.5kg. Not much to go till the 7kg limit.

That’s what I thought initially but it’s surprisingly comfortable carrying with just 1 strap down a flight of stairs.

I wouldn’t trust anything lighter to be durable enough. 90% of the time this will be used in luggage mode. Probably only gonna use it as a backpack when you hit stairs or bad roads.

I don’t really see myself using one though. Probably better when you have a check in luggage so you can backpack it across overhead bridges when you need both hands to lift the main luggage?
