Hi,

Anyone has experienced hearing clicking sounds after cleaning the blades of the ceiling fan and knows what to do about those sounds?

I had the same issue as yours. When called the technician, we were quoted $120 for replacement of motor.

Mostly fans problem is because of capacitor. Check that first... motor if spoilt, it won't turn ay all...

If you just bought it in dec last year, it should be still under warranty.
so better go get it fix while you can.
But the case you said can be balancing issues and also can be other issues.
Warranty don't cover balancing issues as like you said. You or your wife may have accidentally screw up the balancing of the blade and sometimes home owner got their own people to install the fan but they never do the balancing.
In this kind of cases, you may have to pay for the service charges.
