Change case for an older PC

The $ damage will most prob be $Casing + $Labour + $Other add on (Optional)

Quite common for people to do this. Last time many customers came to the shop im working at, i used to do it for them.

Common reason is old casing front ports not working, or change to smaller and slimmer casings to fit on their tv console, old casing too heavy or aesthetic reasons

From branded pcs to old diy pcs, branded with proprietary psu form factor, proprietary mobo form factor, etc.

Some branded pc got custom mobo, the mounting hole layout not standardise, so may not be able to fit all the screws when move over to new casing.

Usually we will do a general cleaning up for all the old parts then shift it over, then ensure the comp can start up.

99% of the time the comp will start up without issue.

Sometimes they may add in more ram, or add in another hdd, or add in wifi card. Or even replace the old thermal paste.
