Hi, I'm a current NTU student. I've applied for a change of programme sometime last week but just wanted to know usually how long it takes before I can get the result of the application. My current GPA's a 4.50, and I'm a national athlete as well. Will these boost my chances of a successful application? Also, what is the process like? Do I have to go through an interview etc?

Can take anywhere from 1 to 3 months. However, they will try to speed up the process such that you can register for your new courses for the next semester on time.

Your current GPA is excellent and will boost your chances. (Your pre-tertiary scores will also be taken into consideration). Being a national athlete may or may not be of relevance.

The process depends whether you are applying for a cross-faculty transfer, (tends to take longer) or within your faculty (smoother).

Yes, you will likely have to go through an interview. Possibly multiple rounds too if it's cross-faculty.
