Anyone know if there were changes to MCard? I tried to topup my data today and no stacking was done. Remainder expires today. Additional data expires 30 days later

Call in to M1 to ask for them to bring the old data balance to the new one.

Note, new plans have cap of 30 days from last purchase of data plan.

See the “most valued prepaid card” thread to read on the issue.

Thanks.

For anyone facing the same issue. M1 is transitioning to a new data plan scheme. Old data must be manually carried forward by calling 1627 and speak to customer service officer.

So it's better to use SingTel mobile data on pre-paid?

Well this is just M1 implementing a new service in prepaid and that's why this happens. But if you have already used up your old data and top-up new data. This doesn't concern u too much. Since u are already using new plan/data.

But lohsenglte mentioned earlier to note the new plans have an expiration of 30 days from last purchase, means no stacking with the most recently bought data plan, right ?

It is nothing to do with stacking.
There is a limit on the max days to expire upon top up which is 30 days.

Refer to the link on faqs on point 2.

https://www.m1.com.sg/Personal/FAQ/MobilePhonesandPlans/McardFAQs

Note: Prepaid Data balance has a maximum cap of 30 days.

Meaning that when the existing top up is about to expire and still have value, do top up so as to be able to use the existing value.
And this will enable to maximize the new top up expiry.
That is to top up before existing expire and not earlier.
There should have a warning to inform you that the existing top up is going to expire, then do the new top up.
