5625u is 50% faster and half the power

up to you which one you want. there are many laptop options below 1k. sometimes can squeeze in a better display like matebook, oled display like vivobook, graphics card like gtx 1650 or rtx 3050

do u have specific requirements [e.g. screen size, OS, weight, specific software] and what's your budget?

asking as a basic chromebook can already fulfil what you listed, below $200 can find on amazon, if u are ok with not running windows and no local warranty

Thanks. Bought the 5625u one in the end. Went to research and it seems like the ram is upgradable. So I'll just live with the TN screen I guess. Give and take. Haha

Glad that I saw this thread. I bought the Lenovo V14 thanks to yousoffb01. Bought it to replace my 6 years old Thinkpad which is dying.

The Vega 7 iGPU is indeed quite powerful, I can run some of the games which the Thinkpad can't (Thinkpad is using GeForce 940m).

Need a bit of help here to upgrade the SSD. What are the compatible nvme ssd bedsides Crucial. Has anyone managed to upgrade to WD SN750 or SN770?
