chit lom vs siam

hi I have narrowed my search for hotel to these 2 place. Which of this 2 area has more local restaurants, night market and small shop? Thanks

Think both location are good. For me would prefer Chidlom side, coz prefer to walk around centralworld and Big c. Siam side has MBK and Siam Paragon, and Siam Discovery Centre.

Both are very near.. Walkable from one station to the next via skybridge. Just that chidlom has more hotel options.
Not a big deal of diff between this 2. Is like somerset or orchard lol.

I would prefer Centralworld too. Have more restaurants to dine in. Opposite have big C, can buy groceries and on top have food court to eat. Centralworld is near pratunam area, so can shop around in the morning.

MBK area only has VIE, Evergreen, Asia Hotel, Siam Swana, Holiday Inn Express.

Centralworld area has arnoma, Novotel Platinum (Now hving promo, 106 one night two ppl), grand diamond (80 one night two ppl), berkeley, amari watergate (around 110 per two ppl)

each have their own merits. chidlom is kind of nearer to platinum mall, so i guess i'd prefer that. siam is nice as well, but depends on your preference.

You can try staying at sukhumvit/asok area as well, some nice stores and cafes there!

Chidlom near bts and have centralworld big c, can spend more time there.

They are only 5min or 600m apart if you walk. Does the difference matter at all?
