Hello there,

we intend to visit this place call Chocolate Ville.
has anyone been there before? how was it, worth going?

We are thinking of going there on a particular saturday,
morning will be going Chatuchak Weekend Market and we will be heading chocolate ville around 3pm
will that be doable? or it will be too rush?

I feel kinda rush as i hardly know chatuchak will be able to complete in half day span.

Base on the internet research, taxi or grab is the only mode to this chocolate ville.

1 last question, usually you will take taxi or the train from the airport?
is it true that all airport taxi are rigged? meaning fixed amount to Pratunam + tolls?
if so, won't the train be a cheaper alternative for the arrival?

Taxi or train will do. Depending on what u carry. Taxi might be more easy. More expensive but might be more worthwhile.

But don't get carrot. Just go by meter.

I think it's best you look at the map before you plan, chatuchak and Chocolate Ville are far apart.
Chatuchak can easily take up 1/2 a day, by then you will be tired. So best is go nearby attraction after JJ.
If you travel light, airport train is easy and cheap. Going back then take cab if you buy a lot.

Where you stay?

We are staying NAP Hotel Bangkok, base on the website, Close to both Phayathai & Ratchathewi BTS skytrain and Ratchaparob Airport link with just ten-fifteen minutes walk .

However, in their website, under location, under walking distance, they tell us to alight at Phayathai Airport link :s11:

Your hotel location have to walk about 15 mins from Ratchaprarop station, this station you will not get lost easy. Nearby got many shopping centre and hotels to guide you.
Try goggle using street view, will help you understand what to expect.

I went to chocolate ville during my last trip. Actually the best time to reach there is around 5 plus and it takes about 3-4 hours to enjoy over there.
