Above S$50,000 0.60% p.a.

does it mean that if i deposit 55,000 means i will get 1.6%?

Why reduce 0.4% interest for 50k by placing in fastsaver? They do not have min balance, and super salary has a very high balance limit for earning 1.4%.

Because SDIC only protect 50k per bank technically? LOL.

But yah, will be shifting all amount from CIMB to super salary soon.

It is better to go to the bank, due to the need to fill up the giro deduction form (technically,it has nothing to do with salary) attached with the supersalary form.

If online, I'm not sure where to get this giro form.

This is right in the homepage of SDIC (bold added by me)

In the event a Deposit Insurance Scheme member bank or finance company fails, all of your eligible accounts with that member are aggregated and insured up to S$50,000. Trust and client accounts held by non-bank depositors are insured up to $50,000 per account.

Please also go take a look at the illustrations/scenarios provided:

Money placed in a bank , it's guaranteed by the bank.

If bank uplorry, capital up to 50k is guaranteed by SDIC.

If SDIC uplorry, who is the next guarantor?
