Hi guys I'll be arriving in tokyo on the 25th of July and I'll be there for around 6 days before journeying back to sg. I intend to take a tour up Mount Fuji since I'm there for the summer and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations/personal experiences on guides? Price/quality wise

Thanks

It didnt mention any need for a guide.

probably a fully DIY climb is possible.

Came across one of the bus company which provide eng-guide guided climb and gear rental.
can't find the English link at the moment but definitely will be up in a few weeks for tourist.
This their Japanese version for a lil browsing:
willer express

good chance to make new friends and of course with proper preparation, unguided climb is possible, just follow crowd through the widely used yoshida trail.

Price wise, guided tour with gear rental may double or triple from unguided self-climb
