Hi all, decided to down size to a smaller rig because I am getting older and it's getting difficult for me to carry a full ATX PC.
Need help to comment if I am putting the right things together, don't want to overkill on any aspects. I plan to use Silverstone SG08 case for this ITX. Main uses will be playing RTS and action or RPG games on a 1440p or 1600p monitor. I do not know how to O/C so I have shortlisted some parts based on comments from other threads.
Silverstone SUGO SG08 mini-ITX Case with 600W 80+ Bronze PSU (plan to purchase from t258jgn)
MSI H87I + i5-4670
Silverstone NT06-PRO Low Profile CPU Cooler (is it better to have 3rd party CPU cooler for such small enclosure?)
Intel 530 Series 240GB (already purchased from Amazon)
Western Digitial 4TB RED NAS
SilverStone SOD02 Internal Slim 8x DVD Writer SATA Drive (plan to purchase from t258jgn)
MSI GTX780 (any issues with 600W PSU?)
Corsair Vengeance 1600M CL9 L/Profile 16GB
Creative T30 Wireless (looking for something that save desk space)
Microsoft Windows 8 PRO (64bit) OEM
Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013
I chose MSI for its distro. Has been an Asus fan but read so many negative remarks, so trying out MSI. Need advice on where's a good place to purchase my parts too. (TradePac seems highly recommended but I went to buy a cheapo Asus H61M-A + i3-3220 to replace my faulty Asus P6T and they didn't give discount despite I said I will pay cash instead of NETS, maybe they don't like my face?
