Compact Camera Recommendation

Hi everyone,

I'm actually looking to purchase a compact camera for my gf.

She's looking into something light and its mainly for fashion and scenery photos.

I'm totally lost in this field so any help is appreciated!

Budget is about $800 give or take.

I second the Canon S110. The Panasonic is a good camera as well, just that it is a little bulky.
