My computer screen keep flickering. Sometime l left it for like 1hr on idle then my screen shows no signal but my cpu is running. My friend told me that it is my graphic card going to be broken soon. Is it true? Anyone help me with this? By the way, l am not very familiar with computer. Please guide me along thank you!

We isolate 1 by 1 ok...

Find your on board display out and plug your monitor there. If dont have the symtoms that me gfx card going to bye bye. If still have, swap to another DVI cable(if using hdmi and hdmi cable spoil you wont have display). If still have, use a hdmi cable if you mobo and monitor supports. if after cable swap still have means monitor going to up lorry.
