Construction Vehicles Display Models

Hello

I am looking to start a construction vehicle collection for display in my office - bulldozers, excavators, mobile cranes, loaders etc. Looking at 1:50 and 1:87 scale. I understand some items like Terex cranes can cost up to $400 each. Whether its die cast or plastic does not matter.

What brands should I look out for?

Where is a good hobby store to have a look at these?

Just bumping up the thread - anyone have anymore advice?

I bought a few Norscot Caterpillar machines at OG sale at 20% few eeks back. Was wondering if NIkkor and TRUs sell brands like Joal, Siku, Ertl, First Gear, Universal Hobbies etc...
